DEAR TO YOU,

I’m apologizing in advance because I screw up a lot. Everyone who ends up getting close to me just leaves after a while. I end up hurting most people and I don’t even realize it. But I hope you’ll come along and change that. I want you to stay with me through everything and not consider leaving. I’ll promise to do the same for you. I just want someone who’ll be there for me and love me more than anyone else.

You will not be “the one”. I’m sorry, but I know this. I know this because I know myself. I know that I am not ready for the one. I have serious issues, serious problems fully loving another person. But know this: you may not be “the one” for me, but not only will you be someone else’s “the one”, but you will help me greatly. If I can commit to you even enough that you fulfill the title of “future boyfriend” then I will have started to change. And you will help me move past all the boundaries and walls that I have put up. I don’t need you to save me from anything. I don’t need you to be my knight in shining armor. It’s my job to save myself, and my job to take care of myself.

But please, be supportive of me. Please deal with me when I get grumpy. Please don’t ever betray me, or make me lose my trust in you.

Be silly with me, and make me laugh. I will try to make you laugh as well. Share your thoughts, your ideas, your dreams. I will listen and share mine as well. I want you to trust me, because I am here for you. Be my best friend. I will be yours. Please do random things for me that remind me that you’re thinking of me.
Oh, and don’t get creeped out if I do nice things for you and buy random gifts for you just because I’m a girl. :D

I hope you’re a musician, so you can sing sweetly to me. Even if you’re not and are possibly tone deaf, it’s okay. Sing to me anyway. An honest loving song from you is all I really want.

I hope that we listen to a lot of the same music so that we can randomly just sing together. I also can’t wait to hopefully go to shows with you. I’m sure you’ll be passionate about something whether it be music, video games, comics, etc. and I really hope you just ramble about them so I can get to know the things you love. I can’t wait to laugh about nothing and be on the same page. I hope that it’s everything we are both hoping for it to be. I can’t wait to kiss you and hold your hand. I can’t wait to enjoy the little things with you.
